Temagami Public Library, working in the interest of the people of Temagami and guided by the Ontario Libraries Act, will provide access to educational, cultural and recreational reading materials and services in various formats to meet the needs of the community and uphold the public's freedom of access to information.
Library membership is free to all residents of the Municipality of Temagami. For identification purposes, proof of current address is required before a library card can be issued. Parents or guardians of children under 16 years of age are required to sign a child’s card. By doing so you are agreeing to be responsible for your child’s loans and agree to abide library policies. One free membership card will be issued. There will be a $2.00 charge for replacement cards.
The annual membership fee for non-residents is $25.00.

Currently we have 5 public access computers with internet and 1 child’s computer (with no internet access). Parents are required to sign a consent form for any child under 16 years of age prior to the child’s use of an internet access computer.
Computers are available for half hour sessions on a first come, first serve basis, unless a reservation has been made. Reservations will be cancelled 10 minutes after the allotted time.
The library also offers wireless internet service.
Temagami Public Library partnered with The Business Centre Nipissing Parry Sound and Temagami Economic Development office to provide an on site satellite kiosk which will connect you to the Centre's small business experts in North Bay using Skype.
